She works as the Chaplain at AlmaVia, a non-profit eldercare community in Camarillo, and continues to be very involved in the Abundant Table.
Love of God – Love of Neighbor:tonight at 6:00 p.m.
Join us in welcoming The Rev. Dr. Gwynne Guibord, founder and President of “The Guibord Center – Religion Inside Out”. It is simply not possible to say that we love God and hate another human being. Our Christianity mandates that we are and must be a better people. Join her tonight as we learn more about Islam. You may be astonished to discover that we, who are Christian, have far more in common with our Muslim brothers and sisters in all that unites us through faith than what divides us.
Music Guild
Fiesta de los Locos
Saturday, May 5, 5:00 p.m.
Don’t miss Epiphany’s personalized take on the Feast of Fools – Cinco de Mayo edition! This popular medieval festival was regularly celebrated by clergy and laity from the fifth century until the sixteenth century. In the Bishop’s Hall, a child Bishop (the Abbot of Unreason) will be chosen, and he or she will be “consecrated” with delightful ceremony. All gathered will enjoy a “lightening” of our beloved liturgy and church traditions in playful parody. Music for this medieval dis-service will include styles of music not often heard at Epiphany. And, of course, the food, drink, and hospitality will be – in a word – heavenly. Space will be limited. Pre-paid reservation required. Contact music@tcote.org or (818) 991-4797 x26 for reservation information. $30 per person (includes dinner and wine), $25 per person (dinner only); need-based unscholarships are available.

This event begins with a wine reception at 5:00 p.m. Admission for Music Guild Members is free. Suggested donations at the door for other guests: $35 per family; $15 per adult; $5 per child/student/senior.

Outreach
Special Opportunity to Double Our Support for MANNA
Continuing through April, a generous donor will match each item. Remember, any non-perishable super market item will be used: food, toiletries, diapers, paper towels. Your generous support is always appreciated by MANNA’s recipients.
The mission of the Red Door Vineyard (RDV) Guild is to support and cultivate our community through working the soil, tending vines, harvesting grapes, and crafting wine. Guild members will be invited to work together to dig, tend, trim, weed, harvest and crush, all the while deepening and exploring our connection with our inner selves, our neighbors, our community, the earth, and the universal. Brochures are available for more information.
